Risk Free Affiliate Programs

RISK FREE AFFILIATE PROGRAMS

During tough economic times, we often seek ways to reduce costs and supplement our income.  However, if we're not careful, before long we've taken risks that end up costing us dearly in the long run.  I will show you some lucrative ways to avoid the traps and build your nest egg.

As a part-time entrepreneur and full-time working mom, I have tried many programs and
"careers" over the years.  You cannot imagine how many times I have reinvented myself, all in the name of survival.  You'be been there too?  At times it's easy to become discouraged, but I view these challenges and triumphs as learning experiences.  My commitment to "giving back" is to pass along useful information I have gained to save other some of the headaches I have been through.

A Few Tips About Affiliate Programs - One thing to keep in mind with any affiliate program is there are tons and tons of "business opportunties" out there - some of which are scams, and others that are simply too difficult to ever succeed in.  The last thing you want to do is spend your hard-earned money on one of these programs expecting to make a lot of money overnight and end up in more debt than you started out with.  There are, however, some legitimate affiliate programs that do pay you for your time and referrals.

Below are some tips to keep in mind when looking for an affiliate program or business opportunity:

  1. Is the product or service something you can endorse with confidence?  Do you use it?  Would you feel comfortable recommending it to your mother, grandmother, child, etc.?  If you don't believe in it, don't try to sell it!  You could risk your own credibility by promoting a worthless piece of "ocean front property".

  2. Have you used the product or service yourself?  Is the initial investment worth your usage of the product of service?  If you can benefit from using it, then it may be worth your investment.

  3. What are the terms and cancellation policy?  Make sure you aren't getting into something long-term you cannot get out of in the event things don't work out.  Be especially aware of "auto-ship" and "auto-renew" options.  This gets many people into trouble.  Some companies have horrendous track records when it comes to dealign with customer complaints on attempts to cancel auto-ship and auto-renew subscriptions, payments, etc.

  4. How much is the initial investment?  If you are having to cut into your grocery or utility budget each month or you're thinking of taking out a loan to cover the cost, perhaps you should do some more research.  (Look for reviews and scam alerts online, check out the better business bureau for complaints, ask around.)  Is the return on investment (ROI) really that good?  Have you met or talked with others you can trust who have actually benefitted from the program and have documented evidence of their sales?  Remember the old saying, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

  5. Consider your individual budget and available time when choosing a program.  You may be able to afford more than the college kid next door, but he may have more time and energy.  Weigh the pros and cons.  What works for you may not work for someone else.

Hopefully these tips will help you with your search for ways to cash in on others products.
